What Is Direct Amazon FC Drop-Off?
After prep is complete, your inventory needs to reach an Amazon fulfillment center. The traditional route is to hire a freight carrier (LTL or full truckload), which means your cargo passes through transfer terminals and can take 4–7 business days to arrive.
Direct FC Drop-Off cuts out the middleman entirely. We load your prepped, palletized cargo at our prep workspace and drive it straight to the Amazon ORF2 or ORF3 receiving dock in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
ORF3 is located just 20 minutes from our prep workspace — meaning your inventory can go from "prep complete" to "Amazon received" in as little as 24–48 hours.
This is the final link in a fully integrated chain: port pickup → prep → Amazon delivery — all under one roof.

Carrier Transit vs. Direct Drop-Off
See how direct dock delivery compares to booking a traditional freight carrier for your Amazon inbound shipment.
Bottom line: Direct drop-off gets your inventory into Amazon's system up to 6 days faster than a standard freight carrier — meaning your units are available for sale sooner.

Direct FC Drop-Off FAQ
What are ORF2 and ORF3?
ORF2 and ORF3 are Amazon fulfillment centers in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. ORF3 is located in Suffolk, VA — approximately a 20-minute drive from our prep workspace. These facilities receive inbound shipments from Amazon sellers and store inventory for Prime fulfillment.
Do I still need to create a shipment plan in Seller Central?
Yes. You must create and finalize your shipment plan in Amazon Seller Central before we can book a delivery appointment. Once your plan is set and ORF2 or ORF3 is assigned as the destination, we handle the rest — including Carrier Central scheduling and dock delivery.
How is this different from using a freight carrier?
With a traditional carrier (LTL or freight broker), your shipment passes through transfer terminals and may take 4–7 business days to reach Amazon. With our Direct FC Drop-Off, we transport your cargo straight from our prep workspace to the ORF dock — typically arriving within 24–48 hours of appointment confirmation.
What is Carrier Central and do I need to use it?
Amazon Carrier Central is Amazon's system for scheduling delivery appointments at fulfillment centers. You do not need to navigate it yourself — we schedule the appointment on your behalf once your shipment plan is finalized.
What happens if Amazon rejects my shipment at the dock?
This is rare because we verify your shipment plan is finalized before booking. However, if Amazon cannot receive your cargo due to a facility issue, we will hold your cargo safely and reschedule the appointment at no additional transport charge.
How quickly can you deliver after prep is complete?
With a Standard Drop-Off ($75), we deliver on the next available appointment slot — typically within 24–48 hours. With a Priority Drop-Off ($100), we target same-day or the earliest available expedited window.
